Jean Francois arrived in South Florida in October 2003 after a successful and distinguished career in London as an investment banker director in trading and managing a portfolio of $10 billion in interest rate derivatives and structured products for a number of top firms including Merrill Lynch, ING Barings and others. His expertise in the financial markets come from 10 years of successful dealing and outstanding results with intricate products such as derivatives and structured products on G20 currencies.
He joined the Miami Beach Hotel Resort management firm as Director of Revenue Management. Applying his vast experience in finance, pricing and technology, he soon revamped the company’s revenue management methods, which resulted in dramatic results. Annual occupancy at The Palms Hotel and The National Hotel in Miami Beach increased from 63% in 2003 to 96% in 2004 to 2009, while steadily increasing average room rates and consistently surpassing its compset in RevPAR. This was remarkable, but not surprising in light of Jean Francois’ earlier achievements in the investment banking world, where he modernized operations by introducing exotic options and new structured products, increased customer sales by 100% through intelligent pricing strategies with heavy use of computing power, mathematics, and programming.
Jean Francois holds multiple degrees: his two BAs from Schiller University in Germany, an international business MBA from Heidelberg University in Germany as well as studies in MSC in Finance program from the London Business School. Finally Jean Francois was raised in mathematics, physics and computer science by his father who is now a retired aeronautical engineer and rocket scientist for the European space launcher Arianne. Jean Francois is fluent in French, English, and German.

Bruno Perez is a hotel veteran sales and marketing executive with 30 years of vast experience in the hospitality industry. Bruno is a graduate of France’s Hotel School of Nice, where he obtained his Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management, and trained at top French Riviera’s resorts such as the Loews Hotel Monte Carlo, PLM Hotel Bandol, Frantel Hotel Toulon, La reserve de Beaulieu Resort, Thalazur Spa Hotel, and the Avoriaz Dromont hotel.
He’s enjoyed a highly successful career at a number of exclusive Florida properties including The Savoy Hotel, The Blue Moon Hotel, The Safety Harbor Spa Resort, the Longboat Key’s Colony Beach & Tennis Resort and other prime destinations. Bruno is the former Director of Sales of The Palms Hotel and The National Hotel in Miami Beach where he met Jean Francois Mourier in 2003. He spent over 7 years leading a sales team of professionals by consistently exceeding sales goals in key areas including meeting planners, tour operators, travel agents, consortias, corporate accounts and incentive buyers. Goals were also surpassed in markets such as Production & Entertainment, Government, Associations, Conventions, and Airlines.
Bruno was impressed with the tools developed by Jean Francois Mourier to create new sales using technology, mathematics and the internet. He not only embraced the innovative systems, but also assisted in adapting traditional sales practice and pricing challenges to new forms of electronic sales technology. He effectively executed the phasing out of old sales methods and contracts into the new internet era and electronic procedures. Bruno assisted Jean Francois with the intricacies of each market segment and successfully negotiated the conversion of fixed contracted pricing to flexible dynamic pricing. Bruno is a proud member of SKAL, HSMAI, MPI and is fluent in French and English.
